Fleet 43 Skis Rangely

Wednesday, December 19th, 2012

Ok Fleet 43, Jeffa has come through with some epic ski plans for March 8th-10th! See details below and don’t miss out on this great weekend!

The Country Club Inn, which has 10 rooms has offered us their off season rate of $125 a night with breakfast included. They have currently blocked all rooms for us until the 5th of January!

Each room has a private bath, views, and the inn is located 9 miles from Saddleback. The inn also has a pub with pool table and fire place and hosts a two for one dinner night on Friday night for $32.

Jeffa says that the owner is fine with adding cots to rooms as needed to help with budget. He has also arranged lift tickets for $29 a day at Saddleback.

So what do you need to do to be a part of the fun?

1) Share this information with your skipper/crew

2) Contact Margery Jamison at ccinn@myfairpoint.net to reserve your room(s) by January 5th.

3) Contact Jeffa at sailus850@hotmail to purchase tickets.

This is a great opportunity! Hope to see a lot of people off the water and on the slopes!

Downeast Volunteer Duties & Reminders

Saturday, September 1st, 2012
Hello Everyone and thank you for helping out with the Downeast Regatta this year!  Here you will find the latest list of volunteer jobs and details and times.  Please look it over carefully and share it with any of your crew that are listed.   Also, please let me know if you have any questions.
We always could use extra help with clean up and bar-tending…so if you see a place you could lend a hand, please do.
We hope that everyone that is at the club Wednesday Night for racing will be willing to take a few minutes to set up the tables and chairs under the tent.  The idea being “many hands makes light work.” Thanks for your help on this.
Thank you all for your extra help, I know it is a lot to do and race in a regatta as well.  Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
Molly & Jess

Fleet 43 Nominations

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011

Dear Fleet 43 Skippers and Crew,

Your Fleet Needs YOU!

Fleet 43 is looking for energetic, enthusiastic and organized individuals (with a little fiscal responsibility mixed in) for the following positions:

  • Fleet Captain
  • Treasurer
  • Race Officer

Individuals do not have to be a PYC member or own a J/24 to be considered. Membership to Fleet 43 is required.

Read the fine print:

Molly White has graciously offered to Co-Chair the Down East Regatta for next year to help transition the Fleet Captain position. This is a tremendous amount of support being offered this year, for the low, low cost of fun, friendship and perhaps some Mt. Gay.

Please submit nomination/volunteer suggestions to:

Rich DeGrandpre (richarddegrandpre@comcast.net)

Meg Fenderson (fenderson@comcast.net)

Rich Ketchum (rrketchum@yahoo.com)

We’d like to have a slate announced at the Down East Regatta awards ceremony.

Thank you for your consideration,

The Nominating Committee
